Last October, Agnes Seibi Lee began arranging a benefit concert as her gift to her parents, Drs. Clemens and Mary Lee, with all proceeds going to the two non-profit organizations Mary and Clemens have created and devoted many years to raise funds for in order to make the community a better place - the Anne Burrows Music Foundation ("ABMF") and the Chinatown Multi-Level Care Foundation ("CMLC").
Concert Details
On April 8, 2022, Agnes along with three well respected and very talented accompanists from the United States will perform at the Betty Andrews Recital Hall at MacEwan University to honor her parents’ philanthropic achievements and concurrently celebrate their 90 and 92 birthdays!

COVID-19 Protocols
We appreciate our patrons' patience as we acknowledge the changing COVID restrictions recently announced. MacEwan University continues to recommend masking for all indoor facilities on campus, and will have a reduced maximum capacity of 175 guests to allow for social distancing.
Tickets
Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite for $25. All net proceeds will go towards the CMLC and ABMF. If you are unable to access the Eventbrite website, please contact the ABMF with the number of tickets you would like to purchase and the names of your guests, and we will make arrangements with you.
Parking
If you are driving to the venue, indoor parking is available in the basement of Allard Hall at MacEwan University (the entrance is at the back of the building). The Betty Andrews Recital Hall is located on the Main Floor of Allard Hall.
Donations
All donations can be made via links directly to the CMLC and ABMF. If you prefer to donate via cheques, please address them to “Anne Burrows Music Foundation” and/or “Chinatown Multi-Level Care Foundation”. Cheques can be dropped off at the April 8 event, or can be mailed to “PO Box 76115 PRO Southgate, Edmonton Alberta T6H 5Y7”. Tax Receipts will be provided for donations over $20.

Agnes Seibi Lee is a choreographer and storyteller:
- From the San Francisco Bay Area, Agnes specializes in Asian-American/Pacific Islander Dance
- Agnes has established herself as a dynamic solo Kathak artist. Kathak is among the eight major classical dances of India and one of the most dynamic theatre arts in the world.
- She is also the Co-Artistic Director and principal soloist with the Chitresh Das Dance Company, and Co-Artistic Director and senior instructor at Chhandam School of Kathak.

Chinatown Multi-Level Care Foundation ("CMLC")
- Established in 1985, CMLCF’s mission is to create resident focused communities that are respectful, caring and compassionate, and where residents are encouraged to live each day with purpose and belonging
- CMLC operates the Edmonton Chinatown Care Centre ("ECCC"), housing 98 residents requiring long term care
- CMLC has started construction of a new 136-bed long term care facility in the MacTaggart area in Edmonton. This facility will serve Edmontonians who have a need for continuing care.
Anne Burrows Music Foundation ("ABMF")
- ABMF has been a 100% volunteer based non-profit since 1980, operated by a working Board of Directors
- ABMF’s vision is for its musicians to make a positive impact on our community and around the world through music.
- ABMF’s mission is to fund gifted music students from the Greater Edmonton Area so that they can pursue excellence in their post-secondary music educations in Canada and abroad.
- ABMF has provided over $1.3 million in music scholarships to post-secondary education since its inception.
All proceeds raised on April 8 will be used to:
- Fund the 2022-2023 music scholarships provided by the ABMF to music students at the post secondary level in Canada and abroad.
- Provide enhanced technology for ECCC residents to connect with their loved ones.
