Sonic Escape, which includes former scholarship recipient Maria Millar, has received rave reviews for their performance of an original show called "Celtic with a Twist", They will be performing it for one last season, 2017-18, including limited availability in March 2018 (the month of St. Patrick's Day), so book now!
Sonic Escape has also been busy travelling from Iqaluit, NU to Miami, FL to create "Four Seasons Rising", a 4-part symphonic work that features solo violin and flute. Each movement showcases a distinct musical style and a region whose way of life will forever be impacted by climate change. Maria has just recorded "Fall" from "Four Seasons Rising", which they are hoping to perform with non-MIDI orchestras across the globe during the 2018-19 season. They encourage anyone to contact them with ideas on how to make that a reality!
